Hills Race #16th edition, one of the most incredible Italian drag racing events organized by AMP American Motors Pavia, will take place from Friday 30th of August to Sunday 1st of September. Three days of automotive passion and dragster race that will have as main protagonists Volkswagen air cooled Beetles and American cars. An open challenge along the 402.33 meters of the Rivanazzano Terme (Pavia) airport.
In addition to the race program, Hills Race will offer an “open paddock” area, muscle & vintage cars on display, merchandise stands for shopping, street food & beer all day and live music.
The race will start on Friday and Saturday with the qualification rounds, followed by the elimination and final rounds on Sunday.
Five the categories that will fight on the track: A1, A2, A3, Pro ET and Super Pro ET, with dragsters able to reach 1/4 mile in 7 seconds. Pure adrenaline!
Visitors will have the opportunity to follow the competition seated in comfortable galleries.
Once again, the American motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson confirms its presence thanks to Max Pezzali's official dealership - Pavia, which will offer all day free demo rides and a merchandising area. Hot Heads Garage Team & friends will manage the exposition area reserved to American cars and Beetles.
The Hills Race schedule offers two exceptional dragster shows: Saturday evening at 7.30pm and Sunday afternoon at 4.00pm with the Junior dragster exhibition and the powerful Jet MACH II 6000 hp. Horsepower and flames on the track!
Hill Race 2019 is a special and awaited weekend for speed enthusiasts, for the family and for friends. You can come to see the race and super cars, to have meal and a beer in a unique setting, to hear good music or just to have some shopping.
